No false claims of getting rich quick, no multi-level marketing (MLM), no unsustainable - extremely high leveraged trading risks, no $250 turned $25,000 in 2 days bold print email inboxed several times a day. Just to name a few. Disclosures of risk to the consumer must be complete and evident. No marketing gimmicks to attract and take advantage of the customer. TailoredTrader.com stands and operates via this statement. With the rise of social media, it’s a very common practice for individuals to set up a “fake lifestyle image” online. Portraying images of success to lure in customers for sales, in most cases, making false guaranteed claims to the attained customers. That said, it’s understood that most interested and reading this at the moment, will most likely have skepticism. That’s fair. I myself (Eric – Head Trader) always had and still continue to be a healthy skeptic of certain trading education outlets and online learning in the trading industry. It’s difficult to trust during these times. Even more difficult to give trust within the trading industry. A great deal of trust is “given” online. However we believe trust is “earned”, not given. Therefore we stand by being absolutely transparent with ALL trading aspects, profits, losses, cumulative gains, drawdowns, risk:reward, and percent of trades correct/wrong, to name few. Trading is hard, a grind, the concept is simple, but it is extremely difficult to “make it” in this industry. Also note when/if you do “make it” as a proven consistent trader, there then comes another “learning curve” and psychology to master as well. Which in my opinion could take some YEARS of experience to truly grasp and fully understand. With great power comes great responsibility, how do you manage?

Many years ago after the time spent buying books, products, indicators, education, mentorship programs and in most cases being sold some sort of dream as well. The way I learned how to trade properly was by watching and following an already proven successful trader. Not just for a day, or week or even months. It was (and still is) a continuous passion of mine to really follow proper trading habits until it soaks into my subconscious mind and literally becomes second nature. Fall in love with the process so to speak. As with any athlete or performance endeavor, skill development is key and in most cases is directly correlated to ones success in the field. But how can you develop the skills, when so few people worked through the long struggles and failures to then grow and develop the essential skills?

The minor successes I’ve attained for myself in the trading industry is a turnaround result of YEARS of bad trading, poor habits, undisciplined strategy execution and lack of emotional control and more. Also credit due to a now friend and trading mentor, who saw I meant business and that I have an insane amount of passion for the financial markets and coached me through many ups and downs and continuously worked with me until I started to show consistency growth and trader maturity and discipline on a daily life basis.

Fast forward the time to present – I now realize there are many people in this world that are attempting to find and learn this skillset of trading from an experience proven trader just like I did when wanting to learn and get serious with trading. I personally know the struggle of the matter.
